Description Introduction: Nosocomial infections are still the main cause of morbidity and mortality, Nosocomial Infection at each site varies depending on location, the bacteria that most often cause nosocomial infections are abbreviated as ESKAPE (Enterococcus faecium, Staphylococcus aureus, Klebsiella pneumonia, Acinobacter baumannii, Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Enterobacter ) At the home of one of the private hospitals in this poor city, no research has been conducted to find out which bacteria have the potential to cause Nosocomial Infection. So that this study aims to find out which bacteria in the bathroom space I and II have the potential to cause bacterial nosocomial infections and find a relationship between the number of bacteria in the bathroom and the number of visitors in room I and II hospitalizations.Method: This study was an in vitro study using an observational post test only analytic study design, by sampling using samples on the bathroom door handles and sink taps in class I and II rooms. Then inoculated on agar nutrient media, blood agar, MacConkey agar and eosin methylene blue which will be observed the number and colonies of bacteria that grow on the media.Result: The number of bacterial colonies on door handles in bathrooms in class I compared to class II did not show a significant difference (p>0.05). Comparison of the number of bacterial colonies on the sink faucet in class I and class II did not show a significant difference (p>0.05). The number of visitors in class I and II rooms did not correlate with the number of bacteria in bathrooms and taps in class I and II sinks (p>0.05).Conclusion: There was no effect on the number of visitors to the number of bacterial colonies on the door handles in the washbasins and sinks of class I and II inpatient rooms due to the high variation in data. This can be caused by an error in the method and SOP of the visitor at the hospital.
